The sailing ! Cadets involved in the sailing team are presented the opportunity to interact with multiple local organizations including Tacoma yacht Club, and the Tacoma Youth Marine foudation. All active members of the sailing team will be given the prospect of extending their leadership beyond the classroom and into the running of both small and large sailing vessels as well as being taught applicable workforce skills like gas/diesel marine engines. Viking Company Cadets who choose to be apart of this incredible team will be able to compete in sailing competitions with other local youth sailing organizations from around the Puget Sound.
